India’s largest search engine Google has confirmed it will bring its new search engine to the country in the near future.
The announcement follows an initial test in Bengaluru earlier this year that has shown a strong interest in the service.
It will be available in more than 15 languages.
Google says it will provide the search engine with more than 1,000,000 languages and provide “new capabilities” for the search platform.
Google has also revealed that it will continue to work on improving the local search experience in India.
The service will also be available on Android and iOS.
India’s first-time Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted: “I will be happy to see you here on Google Now, Google’s new mobile app for India.”
