Posted November 05, 2018 12:28:23It is Christmas time and I am flying out to China to see my parents.
My trip is on the verge of ending but I’m getting a great deal more done than I did on my previous visit.
I’m flying to the Chinese city of Chongqing, where I’m staying at the Hyatt Regency, and I’m going to the airport to pick up my package.
As I walk through the airport, I see a group of Chinese tourists, all with Chinese names, sitting in the same section.
I walk past them and start chatting with them.
I see them looking around at their phone screens, but they’re mostly staring at their screens.
It’s a Chinese tradition to put their phone on their head to take selfies while watching movies.
But, as I chat with them, they don’t seem too excited about my trip.
I think they’re curious about it because I’m their tourist.
I have their attention and I need to get them back on track to get home.
But they’re also kind of excited.
I don’t know if it’s because I am their tourist or just because they have a Chinese name.
I ask them, “Why is this happening?
Are you from China?”
They tell me, “We are from China.
We’re from China and we’re visiting Chongqang.”
And I’m thinking, Wow, I am the Chinese ambassador to Chongqan, which is a city in China’s far east, and there are two Chinese cities in China.
But they are just two Chinese countries.
But I don,t know if I’m really from China, because I don.t speak any Chinese.
And they just told me, Oh, you don’t speak any English.
It doesn’t matter what I say.
But there is one Chinese word for it.
They don’t understand what that is.
And I just smile.
I said, “You are a foreigner.
You are from a foreign country.
I am from a Chinese country.”
They were really impressed by my accent.
And then, when I ask why, they say, “Oh, it’s your birthday.”
They said, Yes, it is.
They said I have been in China for five years.
I was just a tourist.
They want to know, Why is this going to happen to you?
They said they want to be more understanding of me, so I don?t really know what to say.
They just say, You are my guest.
And the next thing I know, they start taking photos.
The trip to Chongjian will be the first time I’ve visited China since moving to the US in 2008.
I was very nervous going in, but I was so excited to be here.
I felt like I was in the middle of an epic adventure.
So when I went to Chongjin, I was excited to see what it would be like.
I would love to have more of an experience.
I had no idea what to expect.
I thought I was going to see a bunch of tourists sitting on the edge of a lake, drinking beer and eating food.
But it’s really nice, it?s like you?re in a foreign land.
They are just so nice and kind.
The restaurants are really nice.
The air is really nice and clean.
Everything is so clean.
It feels like the most pristine environment you can go to.
It?s just like I thought it would.
But, when you see the other side of the city, it really is like nothing I have ever experienced before.
It?s beautiful, but it?ll be hard for me to describe it.
There?s this little town where they call it the city of glass.
It has this sort of charm about it.
It seems like a beautiful place.
I think the best part is the food.
Everything seems so fresh and delicious.
It is a bit different than most of the restaurants in America, but that?s because they don?ve done so much traveling.
They have traveled around China, and so they know all of the different dishes.
They can create everything that they need, from the best steak to the best seafood.
And there?s a lot of people.
s so friendly.
I feel like I?ll feel really welcomed.
But you have to know that the people here are very respectful and respectful.
They do not treat you like a tourist or like they don;t know you.
They give you a good time and they are so kind.
There are a lot people who don?
t know that I am a tourist, so they don?’t treat me like one.
They treat me as a guest.
They welcome me, and they love me.
So, I really think it?
re really welcoming.
But the hardest part of this trip will be getting back home.
It was supposed to be a 10-day trip, but my parents have told
